The labor costs are extra, and travel expenses if any travel is involved outside our base town.

PLUMBING CHARGES
We have a $125 callout fee for no emergencies. Then we have a flat rate charge after the callout fee and travel charges (if any).
A flat rate means the taxes, parts, gas, insurance, and whatever else is involved are represented as one price. You will pay about $125 an hour depending on what needs to be done and how difficult the job is to perform.
As mentioned, the price depends on the job, so if you want, we will give you one tentative price estimation before we leave the office, and then after the plumber is on-site, he can give you the actual charges if possible.
Some jobs you can not accurately estimate. For example, a sewer clog could be from collapsed pipes or just from flushable wipes. You don’t know until you take troubleshooting steps, and each of these steps costs money.
The price could cost tens of thousands of dollars depending on where the pipe is located. Is the collapsed pipe in a concrete slab, or is the pipe clogged from roots? These things you don’t know until you start poking around.
Here are our basic charges:
- We charge a callout fee for each service visit. During regular business hours, the callout fee is $125. The call-out fee includes a diagnostic analysis, but this call-out fee/charge does not have any work. During emergency services, the callout fee is $300—the actual work costs extra.
- We charge a flat-rate fee for the job itself in most cases. The actual work is an additional charge represented as the flat rate charge that we’ll give you upfront before any work is done.
- We travel an additional charge for traveling outside our home town. The demand for travel equals $125 an hour. If gas prices keep rising, you may pay a surcharge for gas.
- We’ll give you a free over-the-phone estimate for emergency jobs and none emergency jobs.
We’ll come up with the best solution for your specific situation, so you will never have to worry about surprises down the line.
NOTE* The emergency plumber will be dispatched after the callout fee is paid, including travel expenses, before the plumber is dispatched.
Otherwise, each job is scheduled according to availability during regular business hours.
Call now to reserve your spot with us as soon as possible (304) 877-1254.

Common Questions
How much do services cost in West Virginia?
It depends. In West Virginia, it will vary depending on travel expenses, the township, the kind of job, and whether you need work done at a commercial or residential property. Some services we will charge by the hour, and others will charge a flat rate depending on the scope of work. If you’re interested in what we can do for your business or residence, contact us today to schedule an appointment with one of our experts!
We charge a $125 callout fee during regular business hours, and for emergency services, we charge a $300 callout fee. The callout fee includes a diagnostic analysis but does not include any work or travel expenses. Travel expenses are $125 an hour, and the work itself, on average, costs about $125 an hour, depending on how complex the work may be.
Are services more expensive on weekends?
Yes, we are more expensive on weekends and holidays because these times usually are our days off.
Regular plumbers’ hours are 9 am-5 pm, Mon – Fri. Not us; we are open 24/7/365.
Our service is the only service in our areas that offers emergency plumbing services 24/7/365 (when available).
During regular business hours, we charge a $125 callout fee. During an emergency callout, the callout fee is $300. The callout fee includes a diagnostic analysis but does not include any work or, if you live far away, travel expenses ($125).
Can you negotiate with the plumber on the price?
Sure, people often think that they can’t negotiate with us. You can get the price lowered depending on what type of job it is and how much work it entails. For example, if you get the hot water tank instead of us bringing one to you, you can save a lot of money purchasing and transporting the tank yourself. We don’t have to charge you to pick up the water tank and transport it to you.
Instead of paying us to clean up after all the technical work is done, you can get a discount if you clean it up yourself. If there’s any way we could help your home or business save money on our services, contact us today!

Do you charge by the hour or job?
We have a flat rate charge but can charge by the hour or the job, depending on the situation. The price stays the same no matter how much we charge. In West Virginia (WV), we usually set by the job/flat rate, but you can get us to charge by the hour if need be; either way, it’s going to cost the same. When you speak to your technician, ask them how they charge and whether you can pay hourly or by the job. You can expect to pay about $125 an hour, or more money if dealing with sewer, flooded areas, digging, and craw spaces.
How long does it take to fix a burst pipe?
It depends. The time to fix a burst pipe depends on the problem and the difficulty of reaching the line. Usually, a burst pipe can be repaired in an hour if it is easily accessible, if your leak is in a wall or ceiling, it could be an all-day job, or if your leak is in a concrete slab or the foundation of your home, or if you have multiple leaks, it may take several days or even weeks.
Why do you charge a call-out fee?
We charge a call-out fee to cover our expenses to come to you. Our plumbers stay busy, so it is a supply and demand issue. We charge a call-out fee to weed out anybody that is not serious or may give us difficulty with payments.
Generally speaking, the charge covers our time and gas. These charges depend on if the visit is during regular business hours or on the weekend, or on holidays.
We will charge a call-out fee of $125 during regular business hours, but we charge $300 for an emergency call-out – so it’s essential to ask first!
Can you increase water pressure?
A plumber can increase water pressure. If you have a home with low water pressure, this is likely due to sediment build up in your pipes or because you have the wrong size pipes installed, and it needs an expert’s touch.
A plumber will be able to identify the issue and provide solutions that best suit your situation. For example, they may recommend replacing old piping or installing new faucets.
We can also help with new construction, including:
Bathroom remodeling and installations. Kitchen services include installing dishwashers, disposals, ice makers, garbage disposal systems, and water filtration devices. We offer residential and commercial customers the highest level of service available from experienced experts in WV.
In addition to our fast emergency response times, we are always available for scheduled appointments. You don’t have to worry about a thing. Whether it’s time for your annual boiler inspection or just a routine checkup on your kitchen sink, we’re here for you. Whatever town, whether it is Beckley, Princeton, or somewhere in between, call us 24/7/365 at 304-877-1254.
What can plumbing work be done without a license in WV?
When it comes to pipes, fixtures, and appliances in your home or business, no work can be done without a licensed master expert except for running a snake auger into a clean-out. Owners can do their own work without a license, but we highly discourage it. Installing sinks, toilet bowls, and dishwashers are easy for an expert, but you need a permit to do it legally if you are not the owner. If you are unsure, it is best to call your local code inspector before installing to ensure you do not need a permit.
